A Tracer Study on the Relevance of the Economics Course Curriculum and Program to the Careers and Professional Growth of Selected Economics Graduates of JRU

Abstract

In the past twenty years in the Jose Rizal University College of Business and Accountancy, the Economics Majors have the lowest population when it comes to enrollees and the number of graduates. The Economics Degree Program of the Jose Rizal University College of Business is divided into two, the first one is the Bachelor of Arts in Economics and the second is the Bachelor of Science Major in Economics. The Bachelor of Arts Major in Economics is under the Education Department and the Bachelor of Science Major in Economics is under the Business and Accountancy Department. The goal of this study was to determine the employability of Jose Rizal University Economics graduates. The respondents, who are Economics alumni, were invited to complete the survey, which is the study's major instrument, to provide the information that the study needed.
