Abstract

The main objective of this study is to assess the perception of the Graduating Business Major students of Jose Rizal University in terms of online internship. This study also aims to identify the level of satisfaction of the students with their online internship experience during the new normal. A structured survey questionnaire was used to collect data from Graduating Business Major students of Jose Rizal University School Year 2021-2022. This study applied regression analysis to test the hypothesis develop in this study. It was found that in terms on the general findings on the significant effect between online interns’ satisfaction with industry involvement and willingness to pursue a career in the business sector industry there is a significant effect between online interns’ satisfaction with industry involvement and willingness to pursue a career in the business sector industry. This shows that the JRU online internship program plays an important role in the virtual work experience of the students. The findings also showed that majority of the respondents are satisfied with their online internship experience and most of them will still pursue a career in the industry after graduation, particularly in the different business sector industries.
